SUSTAINABLE HOSPITALITY
The environment is important to us. That’s why we participate in Stay for the Planet, a programme based on a standard recognised by the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council), the organisation that sets and guides standards for sustainable development in the travel and tourism sector globally.
The programme is based on a sustainability rating developed by the LifeGate scientific committee which, by assigning a score from 1 to 5 expressed in leaves, reflects the environmental and social performance of hotels in the following areas of impact: Energy, Water, Waste, Purchasing, Behaviour and People.
Thanks to constant monitoring of consumption, we aim to preserve resources; we rigorously implement separate waste collection, which we ask you to contribute to by using the appropriate bins located in the common areas; we raise awareness among our guests about food waste and offer various vegetarian and vegan alternatives.
A certified commitment
Hotel Cristallo is thrilled to announce that it has obtained Green Key certification, a prestigious award conferred by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), which attests to our commitment to more sustainable hospitality.
Obtaining Green Key certification is the result of a process of continuous improvement, aimed at complying with strict standards in terms of environmental management, energy efficiency, waste management, responsible use of water resources, nature conservation and the promotion of sustainable practices.
We are proud to be part of this movement and believe that, together with our guests and employees, we can actively contribute to the preservation of our precious territory.
